Cake Masters Magazine Sugar Eggs Collection

This is a very special feature just in time for Easter unveiling a colourful and beautiful Sugar Egg Collection from 14 amazingly talented UK cake artists. These 30 cm high cakes, some Fabergé inspired, are true works of exquisite art and has surpassed our expectations with such beauty and detail.

Editor Rosie, was inspired to do something like this following theFabergé Egg Hunt in London back in 2012. Companies and artists from all over the globe sponsored an egg and made the most beautiful designs. Rosie knew back then, she would one day do something similar was a group of talented cake artists.

We are so excited and honoured to display their different styles and work and are proud to include: Jacqui Kelly from Totally Sugar calls her egg “Pomp & Circumstance”; Diana Woolmer from Dee’s Sweet Surprises created a Fabergé pearl and gold inspired egg; Vicky Turner from Yellow Bake Cake Company creates a Fabergé carousel egg; Laura Davies from Laura Jane Cake Design has created a “Vintage” piece focusing on hand painting and brush embroidery including lace and vintage style roses; Rose Macefield from Rose-Marie’s Cakes & Sugarcraft has created an egg with a marble effect featuring her favourite colour, purple, and her favourite flower, roses; Inga Ruby-Barn from Bella Baking has created an “Exquisite Royal Icing Cake”; Ceri Badham & Linda Donnelly from Fancy Cakes by Linda were inspired by the beautiful pink and gold Fabergé eggs, Natasha Shomali from Cakeium has created “Pearlescent Blue”, Laura Loukaides from Laura Loukaides Cakes has created “Black Gems” the 1914 Mosaic egg created for Nicholas II of Russia; Zee Chik from Zee Chik Cakes has created the “French Magnolia” egg; Sarah Thomas from The Cupcake Oven has created the “Gold Enamel”, Suzanne Thorp from The Frostery has created the “Clover Leaves” egg; Rhu Strand from Pimp my Cake was inspired by Lily of the Valley style eggs in her creation, and Calli Hopper from Callicious Cakes has created the “Baroque & Rococo” egg.
